All about Mrs. Heberlie
Hi, my name is Amy Heberlie. I am a 3rd Grade teacher at West St. Francois County R-IV. I grew up on a small farm in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. This is where I first began my love of animals and agriculture. I attended North County High School and then received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University. I began teaching at West County 21 years ago. I have taught Kindergarten and First grade but I absolutely love Third Grade! The growth in each child within this year of their school career is amazing. This has been the best district to work for! The support and community togetherness never fails to amaze me. This small community truly feels like home. For this reason my daughter, Bailey, also attended West County!
I have 2 children Jordan & Bailey. My son Jordan is the oldest, he is married to Lindsey, she is also a teacher at Belgrade Elementary and I have one granddog "Bella." Bailey graduated this year with her nursing degree and works as an RN at Mercy in Festus, she is planning on getting married this year in September.
I serve on our Positive Behavior Support team, I am a member of our Curriculum Committee and I am also an active member of our CTA. I also will be working with students at our ASAP program at Homework help/tutoring. If you feel like your child could use extra help in this area please let me know and I will send home some information.
I live back on our family farm with my husband, Charles. We work and tend to our animals. I also have 2 dogs that keep me on my toes a small "morkey" named Milo and a huge "goldendoodle" named Willow.
Thank you for allowing me to share in your student's lives and education.
Sincerely,
Amy Heberlie
